Manufactured c. late 1700s or early 1800s, possibly by Thomas Gill or John Gill. "GILL" marked tail of the lock with a crown at the center, no visible barrel markings.

Good as refinished, with a slightly shortened barrel, brown and gray patina, scattered pitting, corrosion and wear. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered insect holes, dents, scratches, scuffs, chips and cracks. Mechanically fine.

"FARMER/1743" marked tail of the lock, with royal cypher crown above "GR" at the center of the lock, and no visible barrel markings.

Good as refinished and reconverted to flintlock configuration, with brown and gray patina, scattered pitting, corrosion and wear. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents, scratches, chips and cracks. Mechanically fine.
