Manufactured in 1934. Mauser "banner" marked, "1934" dated, and "crown/B,G,U, and N" proofed receiver ring. Matching visible serial numbers on the barrel, bolt assembly, rear sight base, and trigger housing. Non-matching numbered replacement magazine floor plate. Fitted with a grasping groove walnut stock set with circled "Ch.d.A." (Chef des Ausbildungswesens, Head of Training for the SA) marking on the left of the butt. Includes a brown leather sling.

Fine, retaining much of the original finish with some light edge wear, thinning on the balance with grey and brown patinas, scattered minor patches of spotting/freckling, and light handling marks. Absent front locking screw on the trigger housing. The stock is also fine with numerous minor scrapes and compression marks, along with a small crack on top ahead of the butt plate. Mechanically excellent.
