Two U.S. Military Bolt Action Rifles

A) U.S. Winchester Model 1917 Rifle

Receiver manufactured in 1918. "W/flaming bomb/6-18" barrel, "eagle head" proofed receiver, "W" marked bolt, cocking piece, and rear sight, and "E" bolt sleeve and front. Fitted with an "E" marked and "eagle head" proofed walnut stock set with "31" behind the trigger housing tang.

ConditionVery fine as professionally refinished, with some minor handling marks. The stock also very fine as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.

B) U.S. Smith-Corona Model 03-A3 Rifle

Receiver manufactured in 1944, "SC/ordnance bomb/9 43" marked barrel, "R" bolt assembly. Fitted with a straight profile walnut stock with faint boxed "FJA" (Col. Frank J. Atwood) cartouche and boxed "O.G." (Ogden Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the left side.

ConditionVery fine as arsenal refurbished, with scattered dried arsenal grease, some minor edge wear, and some minor handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.
