Description:

Receiver manufactured in early 1944, from the fourth production block (serial number range 4,632,100 to 4,879,525) manufactured by Quality Hardware & Manufacturing Co. from March to May 1944. "1-44" dated Inland barrel, unmarked front sight, "shield/H" marked adjustable rear sight, "SA" marked type III barrel band, "E.I." type IV magazine release, and "H.T." type IV flip safety. Fitted with a boxed "S.A./S.H.M" (U.S. Springfield Armory, Col. Stephen H. McGregor) rebuild stamped 'low-wood' stock marked "IO" in the sling channel. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with some light discoloration, minor freckling/spotting, and some mild handling wear. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with crisp rebuild stamp. Mechanically excellent.
