"1-44" dated Inland barrel, unmarked front sight, "shield/H" marked adjustable rear sight, "SA" marked type III barrel band, "E.I." type IV magazine release, and "H.T." type IV flip safety. Fitted with a boxed "S.A./S.H.M" (U.S. Springfield Armory, Col. Stephen H. McGregor) rebuild stamped 'low-wood' stock marked "IO" in the sling channel.
