World War II German Mauser "S/243/1937" Code K98k Bolt Action Rifle

"S/243" code marked and "1937" dated chamber, droop wing "eagle" and "eagle/swastika/211" proofed. Matching visible serial numbers on the bolt assembly, trigger housing, magazine floor plate, rear sight base, and both barrel bands. Fitted with a droop wing "eagle/WaA211" proofed walnut stock with matching serial number on the underside. Includes a leather sling.

ConditionFine, retaining much of the original blue finish with some light edge wear, thinning with brown and grey patinas, some minor spotting, and light handling marks. The stock is also fine as re-oiled with defined stamps, numerous scattered minor dents and handling marks, and a splice repaired section visible ahead of the bolt recess. Mechanically excellent.
