A) U.S. Remington Model 03-A3 Rifle

Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with distinct rifling.
Description:

Manufactured in 1943. "RA/(flaming bomb)/3-43" marked barrel, "R" marked bolt assembly, faintly visible "RA" (Remington Arms), crossed cannons, and boxed "FJA" (Frank J. Atwood) cartouches stamped on the left stock wrist. Fitted with a Lyman 48S peep sight. Includes an M1907 brown leather sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with most of the finish, a personal identification number etched in the bottom of the trigger guard, and some minor cycling wear. Stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled, with a few minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.

Manufactured c. 1925-1933, subsequently arsenal updated to M2 configuration. "SA/(flaming bomb)/6-42" marked replacement barrel, "M1922MI." model marking on top of the receiver, "NS/M2" marked bolt with matching serial number "9907" electro-stenciled on the side, "M2" marked magazine. Includes a green canvas web sling.
