Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with crisp rifling and small patches of oxidation towards the muzzle.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1911. "RIA/ordnance bomb/7-11" marked barrel with "C 83/P" steel lot code on the underside, replacement bolt with "S" under the safety lug and modified handle angle, "R" marked replacement safety and bolt sleeve, along with a milled triggerguard assembly bearing the "flaming bomb/N.R.A." marking used to distinguish these rifles from those belonging to U.S. Ordnance. Fitted with a World War I era 'field replacement' and 'S' profile grasping groove walnut stock stamped with a small number "19" behind the trigger guard. Includes a reproduction M1907 pattern brown leather sling and a nickel oiler in the butt trap.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining original oil-quenched casehardened and blue finishes on the with thinning revealing brown and grey patina, some minor freckling, and mild handling wear. The replacement bolt is slightly modified on the handle. The replacement stock and handguard are very fine with crisp grasping grooves and a few minor nicks. Mechanically excellent.
