Bore Condition: Bright with strong rifling.
Description:

"1915" dated frame, "5.15/1/5/HLI/1" on the backstrap. The backstrap marking is consignor attributed to the Highland Light Infantry (aka the City of Glasgow Regiment); the 1/5th (City of Glasgow) Battalion was deployed to Gallipoli in July of 1915, later passing through Egypt in 1916 and deploying to Marseille in April of 1918. With a brown leather flap holster.

Rating Definition:

Good, with a mixed brown and gray patina overall, traces of original blue in the protected areas, some shallow pitting and minor handling marks. Grips are very good, with minor scuffing. Mechanically very good. Holster fair.

Rating Definition:

Very good as refinished, with minor edge wear and handling marks. A small amount of "cold blue" touch-up is present on the cylinder. Grips are very good, with minor dings. Mechanically very good.
