Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with strong rifling.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1918. "R/flaming bomb/11-18" marked barrel, "E" marked and "eagle head/67" proofed safety, "R" bolt, along with a "W" marked and "eagle head/125" proofed striker. Stock marked with "eagle head/339" proof ahead of the magazine well, "2 51" on the nose, and with boxed "RIA/FK" (Rock Island Arsenal/Frank Krack) and "A A S" (Augusta Arsenal) rebuild stamps.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with light edge wear, some thinning, minor spotting/freckling, and some mild handling marks. The stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled with some denting on the underside. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured in 1943. "RA/flaming bomb/9-43" marked barrel, "8620" and "SA" marked arsenal replacement bolt, along with "R" marked upper band and front sight hood. Fitted with a 'scant' profile stock with boxed "O.G" (Ogden Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the left. Includes a blackened brass hooked "HOYT/1918/J.J.M." marked M1907 leather sling along with a plastic oiler in the butt trap.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with some minor edge wear, dried grease, and minor handling marks. The stock is fine with epoxy filler in the front recoil bolt hole. Mechanically excellent.
