A) Exceptional U.S. Remington Arms Model 03-A3 Rifle with Shipping Document and Box

Bore Condition: The bore is shiny with crisp rifling.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1943, "RA/flaming bomb/8-43" marked barrel, "R" marked bolt assembly, upper band, stacking swivel, and front sight base. 'S' profile stock with "RA" (Remington Arms), "ordnance wheel", and "FJA" (Col. Frank J. Atwood) inspector stamp on the left side, with a boxed "C-S.A.A." (San Antonia Arsenal) rebuild stamp on the right. Includes a numbers matching and "10-18-57" dated U.S. Army shipping document addressed from the Red River Arsenal in envelope, and an arsenal shipping box with the same date and shipping information on the label.

Rating Definition:

Exceptionally fine, as arsenal refurbished, with nearly all of the finish, some minor edge wear, dried arsenal grease, and some minor handling marks. The stock is very fine as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent. The box is fair.

Bore Condition: The bore is partially darkened with strong rifling and some oxidation in the grooves.
Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1918. "W/flaming bomb/9-18" barrel with importer mark underneath, "eagle head" proofed receiver, "W" and "N.S." marked bolt with added matching serial number, "E" cocking piece and striker, and "W" bayonet lug. Fitted with a "E" marked walnut stock set.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with some minor pitting visible under the finish, cycling wear, minor edge wear, thinning on the buttplate, and some mild handling marks. The stock is very good as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.
