Manufactured c. 1900-1902. American eagle crest on top of the chamber, "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link, dished toggles, flat breech block, short trigger, and checkered safety lever. "GERMANY" export mark on front of the frame. Matching visible serial numbers on the frame and barrel, with matching "554" partial on the extension and "54" partials on other small parts. Fitted with a pair of replacement checkered walnut grips numbered with matching "54" partials on the interiors and a nickel finished magazine with unmarked walnut base.

Very fine as professionally restored, retaining nearly all of the finishes with plum coloration to the frame, slide, and barrel, some minor edge wear, various components re-stamped and renumbered to match, and some minor handling marks. Bore rechambered/enlarged to 9mm. The replacement grips are near mint with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
