Description:

Manufactured in 1944, from the end of the third production block (serial number range 4,879,526 to 5,549,821) by Inland Manufacturing Division between January to August 1944, with this range running into Winchester's second production block range. Original, parts correct with "6-44" dated Inland barrel, unmarked type II barrel band, "N" marked front sight, "H.I." type II adjustable peep rear sight, "P-I" type V operating rod, "IO" blued round-top bolt, and milled Inland trigger housing with unmarked push button safety, "HI" type IV magazine catch, and "HI" type III hammer. Fitted with a walnut low-wood stock marked "IO" in the sling channel along with an "ordnance wheel" cartouche stamp on the right of the butt, an "IO" marked four-rivet handguard, and a blued "IS" magazine. Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining original finish with some minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, some minor patches of brown patina/spotting showing, but otherwise limited minor handling marks. The stock is very fine with a few scattered minor compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
