Includes a Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) research letter, dated December 7, 2005, identifying the rifle by serial number as sold through the CMP as a "Service Grade IHC" in March 2004, and a matching M1 Garand data sheet confirming the rifle's current configuration with the added details of a throat erosion reading of "2.5" and a muzzle wear reading of "2.0".
