Description:

Receiver manufactured as part of the third production block from Winchester between December 1944 to June 1945 in the 6449884-6629883 serial number range. Undated Winchester "W" barrel, "67" marked front sight, "PI" adjustable rear sight, "W" trigger housing, "W" hammer, flip safety, "W" magazine catch, "W" round bolt, "W" operating rod, "W" type III barrel band, "W" recoil lug, "W" four-rivet handguard, low wood stock with "W" in the sling inlet, boxed "RIA/EB" Rock Island Arsenal rebuild cartouche on the left, faded but visible "W.R.A./G.H.D." and crossed cannons cartouches on the right, circled "P" proof on the front of the grip area with "25" painted on the bottom of the grip area, and "A.I." magazine in the gun. Includes a Kinfolks manufactured M4 bayonet with M8 scabbard, green canvas web sling, oiler, 1943 dated Appleton Awning Shop U.S. double magazine pouch, and six extra magazines (five are unissued/sealed in factory wrap). Note: This item features a high-capacity magazine which has a capacity above 15 rounds and cannot be sold or transferred to residents in states where handgun magazine capacity is limited to no more than 15 rounds. Please check your local laws and regulations prior to bidding.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, with some minor freckling and handling marks. Stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled, with some light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is very fine.
