Manufactured in 1940. "Eagle/359" proofed. Matching serial numbers on the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. Fitted with a "P.38" marked blued magazine. Includes a later police type black leather flap holster numbered "4-81-1629 P" on the inside of the flap and an extra "eagle/359" proofed and "p.38" marked magazine numbered to another pistol on the base.

Fine as refinished, with much of the finish, softened proofs, some minor edge wear, some minor pitting visible under the finish, plum coloration on the frame and barrel, and numerous scattered light handling marks. The grips are also fine. Mechanically excellent. The holster is fine.

Very fine as arsenal refurbished, retaining much of the blue finish with plum coloration on the frame, limited spotting, and scattered minor handling marks. The grips are fine with light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
