Description:

Receiver manufactured in 1944, from the third production block (serial number range 4,879,526 to 5,549,821) manufactured by Inland Manufacturing Division between January to August 1944, and also falls within the second serial block (approximate range 4,950,000 to 6,650,000) of M1A1 Paratrooper production. "7-44" dated Inland barrel, unmarked type I barrel band, "N" front sight, "IR.CO." rear sight, "WU" flat top parkerized bolt, "PI" operating rod, Inland trigger housing, "KR2" hammer, flip safety, "S-HB" handguard, faint remnants of cartouches in the stock and grip, and an "IR" magazine. Includes a green canvas web sling, oiler, and a reproduction tan canvas U.S. carbine carrying case with "MILLTEX PRODUCTS INC/1943" underneath the flap. Note: This item is restricted under various state-level assault weapons bans and cannot be sold or transferred to residents of CA, CT, DE, HI, IL, MD, NJ, NY, and WA. Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal refurbished, with much of the finish, scattered spotting on the operating rod and some pitting visible underneath the finish on the barrel band. Stock is good as sanded and re-oiled, with some handling marks and dents. Mechanically excellent.
