A) U.S. Winchester M1 Carbine

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with some light frosting and distinct rifling.
Description:

Receiver manufactured as part of the first production block from Winchester between October 1942 to December 1943 in the 1000000-1349999 serial number range. Undated "WP" proofed "W" marked Winchester barrel, "SA" type III barrel band, "N" front sight, "PI" adjustable rear sight, "U" round top bolt, "W" trigger housing, "H" hammer, flip safety, "SI" magazine catch, "W" operating rod, separate operating rod spring housing, unmarked four-rivet handguard, low wood walnut stock marked "IR" in the sling inlet. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished, with some finish, scattered minor pitting visible underneath the finish, brown patina and scattered freckling. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents and scratches, and a small crack visible at the top left rear of the handguard. Mechanically excellent.

Receiver manufactured as part of the first production block from Winchester between October 1942 to December 1943 in the 1000000-1349999 serial number range. "3-44" dated Underwood replacement barrel, "D" in a diamond marked type III barrel band, "RIA" front sight, "SA" adjustable rear sight, "IO" flat top bolt, "N/16" trigger housing, "WU" hammer, flip safety, "PI" operating rod, separate operating rod spring housing, "RMC" two-rivet handguard, and low wood M2 "potbelly" walnut stock. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Good as refinished, with some finish, scattered minor pitting visible underneath the finish, brown patina and scattered freckling. Stock is also good as sanded and re-oiled, with numerous scattered dents and scratches, and a few repairs visible. Mechanically excellent.
