1956 production receiver, "SA" marked and "2 55" dated barrel with bright chamber ring, "SA/Y01" marked bolt, post-World War II "SA" operating rod, and post-World War II "SA" trigger housing with "SA" hammer and "SA-11" safety. Fitted with a boxed "DoD eagle" inspection stamped walnut stock set with rack number "6/5" stamped at the toe. Includes a matching Civilian Marksmanship Program certificate of authenticity dated October 26, 1998, and a M1 pattern web sling.

Very fine, retaining original parkerized finish with minor edge wear, light cycling wear, some dried grease, some minor patches of brown patina showing, and some light handling marks. The stock is fine as sanded and re-oiled with some light dents and scratches along with attractive fiddle-back grain. Mechanically excellent.
