Description:

Without a date on the receiver socket, "ordnance bomb" proofed receiver, Fazakerley replacement bolt numbered to a different rifle.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished, with most of the finish, plum coloration on the safety spring, mild cycling wear, light spotting on the rear sight, light pitting under the finish, and some light handling marks, The replacement stock is also fine as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured in 1955. Importer mark on the right side of the barrel. Matching serial numbers on the bolt, magazine, and forend. Includes a Bowie pattern blade bayonet and scabbard numbered to a different rifle.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining nearly all original finish with some dried grease, limited minor edge wear, minor cycling wear, some patina on the brass buttplate, and some minor handling marks. The furniture is exceptionally fine with some minor mildew fading to the butt. Mechanically excellent. The bayonet is fine with some light spotting in the fuller.

Receiver manufactured in 1945, "1945" dated receiver socket with importer mark on the right side of the receiver. Bolt and nose cap numbered to match. Fitted with an unserialized "SLAZ/43" coachwood forend without recoil blocks and undated "SLAZ/42" butt. Includes a web sling.

Rating Definition:

Very fine as importer refinished and assembled, with most of the finish, some limited minor edge wear, and a few minor handling marks. The furniture is exceptionally fine as sanded and re-oiled. Mechanically excellent.
