Description:

Factory letter states revolver was shipped on December 26, 1934 and delivered to Herr & Co. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, with a rare 5 inch barrel in .38 caliber, blue finish and type of stocks not listed. This was a single gun shipment. Provenance: The Charles Marx Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent overall with original finish, only minor edge wear and a very slight drag line on the cylinder, grips showing nice sharp diamonds overall. Mechanically excellent. A beautiful example of a very early prewar revolver with a scarce barrel length.
