Manufactured without iron sights the rifle features an unmarked, black painted A5 style scope with crosshair reticle and Winchester marked front mount. Two Winchester factory oval proof marks are located on the left side of receiver and barrel as well as numerous British markings. "657" is also stamped on the left side of barrel below stock. According to an article written by Vincent L. Rausch and published in the American Society of Arms Collectors Bulletin, only 769 factory scoped Model 69 rifles were manufactured.
