Rare three barrel pepperbox manufactured by the Manhattan Firearms Co. The pistol features a three shot manually rotated 3 inch 28 caliber smooth bore barrel. The pistol is marked "MANHATTAN F.A MFG.CO./NEW.YORK" in two lines on the left side of the hammer and "CAST STEEL" in one of the barrel flutes. The frame is decorated with simple scroll engraving on the sides.
