Two Nationalist Chinese "Blood Chits" and a Leather Patch for the 339th Fighter Squadron

Group includes two "blood chit" identification patches, both leather and suede construction, one with the Nationalist Chinese flag and the other with American and Chinese flags. Both show mild wear, with a small tear in the bottom of the US/China flag. Third item is a painted leather patch for the 339th Fighter Squadron, depicting a yellow goblin with a fighting pick riding on the back of a two headed bald eagle. Flying P-38 Lightnings, the 339th provided the pilots for Operation Vengeance, the targeted mid-air intercept and killing of Admiral Yamamoto. Paint is good, leather shows some nicks and creases. None of the items show evidence of stitching.
