Description:

1) "US" marked "1849" dated sword with scabbard. "US/CEW/1849" marked on the ricasso. Makers markings have been partially removed due to the refinishing process. OAL: 41" with a 34 5/8" blade. 2) German Sword. "W.CLAUBERG/SOLINGEN" marked on the ricasso. OAL: 40 1/4" with a 34 1/4" blade. 3) British officers style sword. Makers markings removed during the refinishing process. OAL: 36 1/8" with a 31" blade.

Rating Definition:

1) Good overall as refinished, spotting/pitting through out the blade. 2) Fair overall, grip leather and wrap absent, wood base cracked, blade shows signs of sharpening/cleaning. edge of the blade is chipped and dinged, spotting/pitting/oxidation through out. 3) Good overall as refinished, some etching remains on the blade after refinishing. Spotting/oxidation throughout.
