9-3/4 inch double fuller spear point blade is etched for most of its length on both sides with a head on view of a sailing ship and floral scrolls. The reverse has a fouled anchor above the ship. The white celluloid hilt has a twisted brass wire wrap. The pommel is an eagle holding the swastika in a wreath. The metal scabbard has oak leaf, feather and lightning bolt designs. The blade is marked with the "E. & F. HORSTER - SOLINGEN-" marking in an oval around the "HHS" monogram with a sword piercing the center on the reverse.
