Made between 1909 and 1936, this one late in production. Dovetail blade front and elevator rear sights on barrel with standard markings. Left side of frame marked "MODEL 12/ 830726" ahead of the takedown screw, and a collector's sticker marked "[JH 564]" is placed on the tang behind the triggerguard. 10-groove forearm and a smooth straight grip stock with solid Remington/ UMC buttplate. In original box numbered to gun, with wrapping paper, wood spacing blocks and a four-piece wood-handled cleaning rod in original blue cloth case. Also included is a Remington/ UMC advertisement from The Saturday Evening Post, dated June 21, 1913, showing a father teaching his son how to shoot, titled "As for Your Boy", mounted behind glass.

Excellent. Barrel retains 96-97% strong original blue & magazine tube about 85%. Receiver retains 96-98% original finish turning plum. Wood is sound with a minor nick or two & retains most of the finish. The action is excellent. Box is fine, slightly soiled and the advertisement is excellent, having been cleanly cut out and handled gently.

The frame has the takedown switch on the left side, and the underside behind the triggerguard has a sticker marked "[JH 63]". Schnabel tip forearm and smooth straight grip stock with loading port on the underside and a smooth curved metal buttplate.

Excellent. Overall retains 95% strong original blue with some light surface rust on bbl & spots of discoloration & pinpoints of rust on receiver. There is a series of skip line scratches on left side of receiver. Wood is sound with minor nicks & scratches. Mechanically good.
