Description:

20" tall bronze mounted on a 1 1/4" thick marble plinth, and measuring 22" from nose to tail. The horse is in mid gallop, supported by a rocky outcropping that connects to it's right rear leg. The Indian is garbed in a loincloth and moccasins, with a feather in his hair, a riding crop in his right hand, a spear with a sword blade on one end and a sharpened point on the other end in his left hand, a knife sheathed on his belt, and a round shield on his back. The base is finished to look like rough ground, and is marked "Copyright 9/500/ Frederick Remington". In excellent condition, with cracking and repairs to the plinth and a few light handling marks.
