This is a copy of the British L1A1 rifle as manufactured by the CAI company in Vermont. These rifles were produced by utilizing a set of original British L1A1 inch pattern parts that were assembled on to a new manufactured type three receiver. The rifle has been fitted with a B-Square ridged top receiver mount with a Sears 4X scope and has been fitted with a Harris folding bipod as attached to the front of the barrel. It has the original folding military style rear sight and fixed front post. The stock and handguard are both black plastic with a pebble grain pattern. Right side of the action is marked "L1A1 Sporter / Cal .308 / CAI-St Alb Vt", and the magazine well is marked "MADE IN CANADA" . Sling swivels on bottom of buttstock and side of the forearm and has one magazine only.
