This highly attractive Winchester High Wall rifle features custom embellishment and wood. The receiver is decorated with engraved border and fine scrollwork along with floral blossoms around the pin and screws. The trigger guard/lever and upper tang are engraved to match along with entwining line motifs. The lower tang features fine checkering and lacks a serial number. The relined no. 3 octagon barrel is fitted with a dovetail blade front sight and a folding two leaf rear sight and is stamped with the two-line Winchester date ahead of the rear sight and "22 LONG RIFLE" at the breech. The barrel is blued, and the remaining surfaces are casehardened. The nicely figured forearm and pistol grip stock have multi-point checkering. The steel forend tip also features engraved fine scrollwork. The stock has a hard rubber grip cap and checkered shotgun buttplate.
