Winchester Model 1892 Lever Action .25-20 WCF Rifle

Manufactured in 1904 in desirable .25-20 WCF caliber. The rifle has a Lyman blade front sight (bead absent), elevation adjustable rear sight, Marble folding tang peep sight, and top of the barrel stamped with the two-line Winchester legend ahead of the rear sight and "25-20 WCF" at the breech. Mounted on a plain walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

ConditionFine, retaining 60% plus original blue finish with a smooth brown-gray patina on the balance. Traces of original nitre blue remain on the loading gate. 40% original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. Faded patterns of original case colors remain on the buttplate. The wood is also fine with minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
