Manufactured in 1919. Blade front and flat top rear sights, with the two-line two block address and patent dates on the left side of the slide divided by the Rampant Colt, "COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 45" on the right, with the Government Model markings on the right side of the frame and "VP" and "4" on the trigger guard. Overall finish is blue, with a long smooth trigger, wide checkered hammer, flat mainspring housing, checkered grips, unmarked two-tone magazine, and a blued barrel with a polished chamber, "G" on the lug and "P" on the underside.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing spots of gray patina on the front grip strap, bright edges, takedown lines and mild handling marks. The grips are fine, with a long dent visible on right panel. Mechanically excellent.
