This is a desirable example of a Yoder Co. manufactured U.S. M1 57mm anti-tank gun with carriage. Over 15,000 of these were reportedly manufactured for the war effort between 1942-1945. This example is dated 1942 on the left of the breech. These more powerful 57mm M1 anti-tank guns were intended as the replacement for the previous M3 37mm anti-tank gun due to rapid improvements in enemy tank armor, and saw effective use in the European Theater.

Very fine, retains 99% later applied green finish with some light handling marks. Various components on the gun and carriage are welded stationary for display purposes. Mechanically non-functional in its current state, with breech welded shut and plugged bore.
