Built with blued steel barrels featuring a single nickel bead sight on the matted concave solid rib, "KRUPP FLUID STEEL MADE BY" and "A. H. FOX GUN Co. PHILA PA" on the right and left respectively, choke constrictions of .002/.014 inches, and chambers measured 2 1/2 inches with automatic single ejector. The barrels are fitted to a casehardened boxlock action which displays attractive Grade A pattern scroll engraving and features a single selective trigger and a tang mounted automatic safety. The gun is mounted with a nicely figured and multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with a hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Included is a reproduction hang tag and a letter from J. T. Callahan confirming the current grade, gauge, barrel length, chokes, stock, and trigger (stock slightly changed with age) when it was shipped on July 15, 1915 to a Alvin Eybel. Stock measurements: 1 9/16 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 13 15/16 inch length of pull; weight 5 lbs. 13 oz.

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue with the loss on the triggerguard, 20% original case colors in the protected areas, some light handling evidence. The wood is very good with minor dings and scratches and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
