Built with blued Krupp steel barrels with a ramped blade front sight and a two-leaf (one standing, one folding) rear sight on the matted solid rib, standard Merkel markings, 2002 dated German proofs, and chambers with a single extractor. The barrels are paired with a bolstered, sideclipped, and scalloped boxlock action which displays light scroll engraving and features bushed firing pins, cocking indicators, double triggers, and a tang mounted automatic safety. The rifle is fitted with a contrasting nicely figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with black grip cap, raised cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, and black buttplate.
