Manufactured in 1947. Fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and a filler block in place of the rear sight. The barrel is marked on the left with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings. "WP" proofs are stamped on the barrel and receiver. The cloverleaf receiver is marked on the left with the Winchester trademark and on the right with the serial number on the receiver ring. The receiver is topped off with a Lyman Model 48 peep sight. Mounted in a multipoint checkered, straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with sling loops, and a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent overall, retaining 97% original matte blue finish with a few minor handling marks and a small spot of oxidation on the right side of the barrel. Stock is very fine with some soft spots in the checkering and otherwise minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
