This was a special model produced for the West German Border Police in the early 1950s with about 5,000 produced. This is a later variation with the black plastic checkered grips and the sand blaster matte finish on the frame. The left side of the slide is marked with the serial number and the "SIG" in an oval logo, and the left side of the frame is marked with the matching serial number followed by a droop winged eagle over unreadable letters. The barrel chamber is marked with the matching serial number. Unlike other SIG Model P210 pistols, this model has a "loaded" indicator on top of the slide and is absent of a lanyard ring. The trigger, slide hold back and hammer are satin stainless steel and it is equipped with fixed sights. Complete with original thick plain two piece cardboard box with one end of the lid hand marked "0465" and Sig".

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% of the original blue finish with slight thinning on the front strap and minor handling marks. The grips are also excellent with a couple chips on the checkering, light handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good.
