Manufactured in 1905. The rifle has a dovetail blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sight, standard Winchester markings including the Winchester factory oval proof on the barrel and receiver, and plain walnut forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate. As "the ultimate lever gun" for over a century, the Model 1894 has truly become the most famous and popular sporting rifle of all time, and this example stands out as a well above average condition for America's working gun.

Very fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with thinning to gray on the balance and a couple areas of brown-gray patina. 80% plus original nitre blue remains on the loading gate. 90% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The buttplate is hand marked with an eleven digit number and retains slight faded patterns of original case colors. The wood is also very fine with some minor dings, scratches, and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
