Manufactured in 1914, the barrel is marked with the standard two-line address/patent dates on top and "NEW SERVICE 455 ELEY" on the left. The left of the frame has the Rampant Colt and the left of the trigger guard is marked "VP" and "3". There are British proofs on the barrel, frame, and cylinder. It is fitted with blade front and frame notch rear sights and a pair of checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in ovals at the tops.
