Description:

Developed as a training device to familiarize soldiers with the RPG-7 shoulder-fired anti-tank weapon, the PG-7 sub-caliber training device is effectively a single shot bolt action barreled receiver installed in a housing shaped like a shaped-charge rocket. With these devices, a crew could practice all the steps for preparing the RPG-7 for action and firing for accuracy in a way massively cheaper and more forgiving of operator error than firing live rockets. Each device has a yellow painted "warhead" and black body with "GPC" import marks and "CZO-1968" date, and a screw-adjustable muzzle collar for fine tuning the device. A recessed trigger button and a spring loaded safety lever are installed on the underside of the receiver, and a white plastic guide block is installed on top to interface with a matching notch on the RPG-7 to ensure proper alignment of the trigger button with the firing pin of the launcher; the guide blocks on A and C have been trimmed down and function with the RPG-7D launcher in the previous lot, and the block on B has been untouched. All three come in a green hardwood transport case.

Rating Definition:

Fine as refinished, with 80% plus reapplied paint, mild scuffs and scratches, and some spotting. The front of the "warhead" shows some denting and a crack. The case shows wear and tear. Mechanically very good.
