Manufactured in a serial number range of 2,000-19,000, the Model 1900 was DWM's first true commercial production Luger, and the "American Eagle" variant was intended specifically for export to the lucrative United States market. These Lugers have early features such as a grip safety, recessed breech bolt, dished toggles with toggle lock on the side. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, "American eagle" crest on the chamber, and "DWM" monogram on the front toggle link. The barrel is stamped with a serial number to match the frame, while matching "57" partials are marked on the takedown lever, trigger, side plate, both toggle links, extension, and grip safety. It is fitted with walnut checkered grips marked "A" on the interior and nickel finish magazine with unmarked hardwood base. Includes an extra nickel finish magazine with unmarked hardwood base, takedown tool, punch, cleaning rod, segmented cleaning rod, and bore brush.

Very fine, retaining 75% faded oversized blue finish and 40% refinished straw colors with orange/brown patina on the muzzle, front sight, and straw colored parts, thinning and milky brown patina on the grip straps, limited minor spotting, and minor handling marks. The replacement grips are very fine with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
