Manufactured in 1939 for the commercial market. Features fixed blade front and notch rear sights, standard markings on the left of the slide, ring hammer, and 60 degree safety. The right side of the chamber and slide are "crown/N" commercial proofed. Fitted with a pair of "Walther banner" marked checkered plastic grips with a polymer pinky extension on the "Cal. 9m/m" marked magazine. Includes an extra magazine (also marked "Cal. 9m/m")and leather flap holster marked with "McDowell/3753" and "JJP/8 digit number" on the interior.

Exceptionally fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with light edge wear, slight thinning on the slide, and limited minor handling marks. The grips are excellent with crisp checkering. Holster is very fine with supple leather. mechanically excellent.
