Manufactured prior to World War II as a single shot training rifle with an action visually pattered after that of the Mauser Model 98k. Features ramped blade front and adjustable tangent rear sights (graduated from 30 to 200 meters), optic mounting rail integrated into the top of the receiver, "Mauser banner" on top of the receiver ring, and "D.R.P. D.R.G.M." marked on the right side of the barrel. The left side of the barrel is marked with "crown/B", "crown/U", and "crown/G" proofs, with the receiver and bolt are marked with "crown/U" and "crown/B" proofs. With matching serial numbers on the receiver and barrel, along with matching "3724" partial marked on the underside of the bolt handle. Fitted in an oiled walnut stock with grasping grooves, checkered semi-pistol grip, "Mauser banner" stamped into the right side of the butt, and checkered "Mauser banner" marked plastic buttplate.

Excellent, retaining 98% plus original Mauser factory deep blue finish with limited minor handling marks and a plum coloration to the barrel. The stock is also excellent with a few minor small dents, along with crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent.
