Features fixed sights, "1940" date marked on the chamber, "Mauser banner" logo on the front toggle link, and "eagle/N" commercial proofs on the front sight base, extension, and breech block. Serialized in a "military" pattern, with matching external serial numbers on the barrel, extension, and frame, along with matching "01" partials on the takedown lever, trigger, safety block, side plate toggle links, breech block, sear, and breech block catch. Fitted with straw colored and niter blue small parts, checkered walnut grips marked "WaA/655" on the interior, and a "fxo," "eagle/37," and "P.08" marked blued magazine with polymer base.

Very fine, retaining 85% plus original blue finish and 70% plus straw colors, with scattered light scratches, light edge wear, scattered minor spotting, thinning, and smooth brown patina. The walnut grips are fine with scattered minor compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
