Offered here is one of only 100 set of four Winchester Model 70 Rifles which create The "Nearly Perfect" Rifle Battery. This set includes one rifle for every prey. A 22-250 for varmints, a 270 Winchester for deer and antelope, a 300 Winchester Magnum for elk and moose, and a 375 Holland & Holland Magnum for Dangerous Game. These sets were manufactured from late 2011-mid 2012 as some of the last Model 70 rifles made in the United States. All four are Super Grade rifles marked with standard barrel and receiver markings and "THE "NEARLY-PERFECT" RIFLE BATTERY/(game of choice)/(number of rifle in set) OF 4". This specific rifle is marked "Varmint/1 OF 4". All the rifles are mounted in multipoint checkered walnut pistol grip socks with contrasting forend caps, blued steel grip caps marked "SUPER/GRADE", shadowline cheekpieces, and black rubber recoil pads. Includes original box.
