Manufactured in 1958. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and single leaf folding rear sight. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address and model and caliber markings. "WP" proofs are stamped on the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Mounted in a multipoint checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling loops, blued steel grip cap, and checkered aluminum buttplate.

Very fine as professionally upgraded to current configuration/refinished, retaining 98% plus blue finish with some handling marks and slightly softened proofs. Stock is very fine with nosecap separation, a few dings and scratches, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
