Manufactured in 1950. The barrel is fitted with a ramped, hooded, beaded blade front sight and elevation adjustable rear sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the Winchester address, model, and caliber markings. "WP" proofs are stamped on the left of the chamber and receiver. The straight tang receiver is marked with the Winchester trademark on the left and serial number on the right of the receiver ring. The floorplate is marked "-SUPER GRADE-". Mounted in a fleur-de-lis checkered straight grain walnut pistol grip stock with contrasting forend tip, sling loops, hard rubber grip cap, cheekpiece, and blued steel buttplate.

Very fine as upgraded to current configuration, retaining 97% refinished blue finish with limited handling marks and some light pitting under the finish on the receiver. The custom made stock is very fine with dings and scratches, a splice on the right side by the rear sight, and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
