Description:

These revolvers are even more scarce than their Registered Magnum model counterparts with only about 1,400 manufactured compared about 5,400 Registered Magnums. Production of Registered Magnums was stopped because it was deemed to costly to manufacture the revolvers, which at the time sold for $60. This example was manufactured in 1940 and fitted with serrated round blade front sight and adjustable rear sights. Matching serial numbers are on the barrel, cylinder, and butt with the right grip numbered to another revolver. Provenance: The Jon M. Maxwell Collection

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with some light handling marks, high edge wear, and scattered spotting/pitting. Grips are fine with minor handling marks and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
