Only 112 of these steel frame high capacity autos were made in 1979. The model number stamping on these guns originally started as a Model 47, and was later overstamped 147A. The pistol features fixed front and windage adjustable notch rear sights. The grips are checkered nylon with S&W monograms at the top of each side. Includes original box. Provenance: The Jon M. Excellent overall, retaining 99% plus original blue finish with limited handling marks and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is very fine.
