Built with blued steel barrels featuring a beaded blade front sight, flip-up rear sight, and German claw mounts holding a Zeiss Diavari-D 2.5-10x scope on the matted solid rib, bands of engraving at the breech, import mark under forend, 1967 dated German proofs, and chambers with extractors. The shotgun barrels have 2 3/4 inch chambers with automatic ejectors and choke constrictions of .026/.022 inches. The barrels are fitted to a coin finished hand detachable sidelock action which shows floral scroll engraving around a gold "SA" on the toplever and a pair of game scene depicting a stag and hind along with a bird on the left and a roe buck and doe along with a pheasant cock on the right. The gun features double triggers (front is single set), cocking indicators, bushed firing pins, manual cocking piece for the rifle barrel, and tang safety. The gun is mounted with a beautifully figured and multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and a pistol grip stock with silver "RJ" initials in the grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and rubber recoil pad.
