Casehardened self-opening hand detachable sidelock action displays nicely cut extensive floral scroll engraving with matted accents in the background surrounding "P. ARRIZABALAGA" signed on either lockplate and "PEDRO/ARRIZABALAGA/EIBAR" on the underside. The gun features bushed firing pins, gold centerline cocking indicators, right hand rolled triggerguard, double triggers, and an automatic safety with gold inlaid "SAFE". Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered forend with blued engraved fittings and straight grip stock with teardrop carved drop points and a checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proofed at 15.8mm (.622 inches) and measured .623/.624 inches; choke constriction .008/.016 inches; minimum wall thickness .028/.027 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 3/16 inch drop at heel; 15 1/16 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs. 3 oz.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and casehardened finishes with minor handling evidence and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. Mechanically excellent.
